Sarah F. Wilburn
I am Mrs. Sarah Wilburn. I am a retired educator of thirty plus years, as well as a wife and mother of one son. I am also, an Ordained Minister. These poems were birth at the lowest point in my life. I lost my job and became an at home wife and mother. This sudden change affected my family financially and emotionally. However, things are not always as bad as they appear to be. I just had to adjust to my new life style by budgeting and prioritizing my spending habits. Being an at home wife and mother, I had a lot of time on my hand. Most of my time was spent housekeeping. I spent the rest of my time in prayer, meditation and reading my bible. God began to reveal things to me concerning my life through other people. I was able to see my strengths and weaknesses: spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and physically. As the Lord began to reveal this to me, I began to write poetry about some of my life experiences. This is a God given talent.
